The only way to improve arcade IMO its on the other way, removing the magical spotting UI. It should be like sim but with mouse controls IMO.

Yeah, Arcade with Realistic flight models, no magic circle or super-spotting, and Realistic's damage would be just about ideal. No 15 minute wait for combat, no "Lol I just flew 2km straight up despite having minimal energy,", no "Lol I just ate six 37mm cannon shells, RTBed with no wings, broke my tail when I landed, and repaired."

the zeroes are the only planes i do good right now, german 20mm have been nerfed apparently and japanese 20mm HEFI-T feel like proper mineshells



well actually i never had that much kills in a single battle.  :-[

also good use of a 150% RP. the only regrets I have is not using the 5 kills wager and Best Squad wager on this battle as well

You should try British planes if you often get into turnfights.
They are second only to russians far as being blatantly overpowered goes.

Honestly, the best way to improve Realistic would probably be just air-start and nothing else changes. Puts everyone on a more even playing field and the action gets started faster, plus bombers actually get something vaguely comparable to an escort. Keep the airfields far off so that it's still... somewhat safe to land, as long as you're not tailed or the last plane.

I agree with air start or closer airfields.

Also the first 2-5 minutes (depending of the map) could play out in x2 speed and greatly reduce the waiting time at minimal change (unless you staff trees for fun during that period).

Edit : Also maybe a bit more EXP for bombing targets, often you can only make 1 bombing run, and even if you make 2-3 very successful ones, some dude that shoot down 2 planes (or you) gonna get three time more exp....

Get the TS info from Sensei, there is a few of us who play in squads there.

RB bombers is good if you like to be bored.

Oh and you get clubbed by fighters just as hard as in arcade.

though once I will get the G8N1 I will make sure to fly it in sim for a lark
