stuka stuka stuka stuka

also will be interesting to see the changes on the Havoc.

Probably won't play the FW200 because it looks like total fighter bait. Maybe I'l get it though ?

can they fix matchmaking already ?

Okay, soo, even more armor for KVs & CO. and a premium Pershing at BR. 6.3 with a ridiculously well penning ammo.

There ever less reason to play Germans.

Half the fight is won before engaging the other fighter.

And the other half before pulling the trigger.

So tell me, how do you kill a T34 at an average BR of 1.7 ?

Stug A with HEAT.

Is the Changelog for 1.47 out yet?

edit: Grind ? More like unlock them both in a single battle, 3 kills, not bad.

*cackles uncontrollably*

edit 2: 1/3 of the bullets you use with MG bullets are ball so :S. still nice. now testing the 6x20mm mwhahahahahah

Stug A with HEAT.

Except 75 mm heat is bad against sloped armor and often fails to connect.

The T-34's side armor is not sloped enough to deflect HEAT shells. Nor is its turret ring, for that matter. Disable the gun, then the tracks, then hit the bastard in the side.

Quite a bit of work considering the T-35 only has to plat one shot into the drivers visor.

Don't worry too much. If I've learned one thing, it's that half of the people playing War Thunder Tanks don't understand how aiming works.

Unfortunately, the other half are all marksmen, and unless you're at least 2 km away, they'll put an explosive shell in your ammo rack on the first shot.

Do remember that the StuG has a low profile and is relatively nimble, though. If you're good with controlling it, you can actually run circles around a T-34. The T-34 is... surprisingly slow, actually. The Su-122 can outpace it.

T-34s were never brilliant, they were cheap and sorta effective.

Having played some Super-Sim tank battles as both Germans and Americans (specifically, Tiger H, StuG G and PzIII M for Germans and M4A3(105) for Americans) I can honestly say that things feel... balanced? At least, as much so as it gets when you've got things as low as the 105 Sherman or the Panzer III versus tanks like the Panther or Pershing. I didn't feel particularly outclassed on either side, even with the 105 Sherman only really being effective with very accurate fire on a lot of the tanks it faced, and even with the Panzer III being seriously outgunned against 76 variants and the Pershing. The big boys might be tough and well-armed, but the little guys are fast on any terrain and good at slipping through peoples' attention spans.

I have to say, I'm pretty happy with how the game is right now. Though that may just be because Super-Sim is literally the best thing Gaijin's done in a long, long time.

After playing super sim I can't play anything less than reg sim, now. Super RB is good, too.

Yesterday I got a +10% RP reward for 20 missions, now I get a +300% RP reward for one mission.

It seems... OK ? Although I would liek to activate it just after or during a battle. I'll have to see what it does for the later rewards though.

edit: 4 kills. 3500 RP or so. At x305% RP, it seems alright. Especially that two of these kills were low reward stuka kills.
