Loss of turret control is no reason to stop firing.

Loss of 75% of your aiming capability is, though.

Nah, not really. Only stop firing when the barrel is gone/ you're out ammunition.

I've successfully taken down an enemy while having lost both vertical and horizontal turret control, and one of my tracks. (I was shot shortly thereafter, but it was fun.)

The early Pz3's are much better than the early Pz4. Mostly because they don't get a howitzer but a proper gun, also better armour. The Pz4F2 is where they start getting good beause they get a pretty scary gun which offsets the shit armour somewhat. The Pz3's on the other hand keep the same ok gun but keep getting better and better armour.

Yah, kinda screwed up that choice there...

Shitty support tanks in a game without shit to support...
Or rather, the right shit to support.

Going down the Pz35(t) line is pretty good, too, especially if you want to play with that beautiful bastard the Hetzer. Sloped armor in every direction, few and small weak points and a really, really good gun? Check, check and check.

First experience with the Stümgeschutz.

Well, not liking the fact that it has a static gun, and so you can get ambushed just so easily.

I think imma go medium tanks, or heavy tanks maybe.

The td's have great guns, but the problem is that you need to have extra good spatial awareness to use them properly. Ambush tactics and picking spots with as few approaches as possible.

The first StuG isn't that great, mostly because it gets the same howitzer the Pz4C gets. The second StuG tho gets the amazing 75mm gun that pretty much murders anything that it meets.

Tank Destroyers' main advantage in real life is they're cheap. That doesn't matter much in War Thunder though, so their real advantage is that they're usually short and accurate. Your best bet is usually to hang back from the fight and shoot from afar, behind cover.

I just got the Bf109 F4. I certainly hope it is worthy with gunpods.

The grind up to them seems painful, though, because 1 mg151 only at tier III isn't a lot.

All the tier 3 BFs are imo great. In fact my lineup now is nothing but BGs and one dornier bomber.

I've heard both sides on that one.  Some people say the gunpods are amazing, some people say they weigh the plane down too much.  Overall I like them, they're a huge boost to firepower which is kind of Germany's specialty.

So I was bored last night and decided to give it another shot. Played a bit with the P-40 and the F6F and it turns out I'm half decent with these planes in RB. Couple that with the much easier to attain 1-3 spot of the mission now and I got a bunch of them yesterday. Today however, I got to 9/10 required wins with you being in the top three players of the team.

Then I played atleast 15 games that would end up either with me on top and the game lost, or me dying without doing anything and the team winning it afterwards.
