There's a cross inside that opens up and closes down in the middle. I believe the bomb falls within the confines of the cross, and I think it opens and closes according to acceleration mostly. The more (positive or negative) acceleration you have, the more spread the bombs will have as well.

The cross is actually an accuracy indicator. So for divebombers, it closes when you're nose down, but level bombers need to be level for it to be accurate.

Note that just about every bomb needs to be either a direct hit or (for the largest) hit within ~2m of the target for an assured kill. Even 50kg bombs can kill tanks if you hit them squarely, and 1000kg bombs will at best do a bit of damage if you miss. Also, carriers are too much work to kill for the reward you get. They take something like 6 1000kg bomb hits to go down, and barely give more lions and exp than a destroyer, which will die from a single hit.

Im just now getting to like the 190A5, i still think its worse than the 109G2 but at least im doing decently in it now. I hate that it can barely move under 500km/h.

Tanks should be in by November at the latest. IIRC they claimed that tanks would be playable on the PS4 release, and since Warthunder is going to be a launch title with PS4-PC crossplay support.

If you own an Xbone, don't expect Warthunder to ever come on your counsole untill microsoft changes their policies on cross-platform play and updating patching.

I don't doubt that most of them are real- but I also don't doubt that sometimes the statistics or facts might be exaggerated a bit because, y'know, nationalism.

That's the way of things. Some of the numbers might be inflated a bit, but the core facts tend to be true.
