Yeah, random. I was happy with a 100k trophy I got earlier today... you won the lottery, I think.

So now the only option is for me to quit my job as a pilot and live out the rest of my days in virtual Switzerland.

Or just buy and train and a couple of tier 10-11 planes. 

Cost me 200000 just to qualify my ground crew as expert on the Yak-3.

Golden Eagle day! In conjunction with the 1-year anniversary of WT, you can win up to 400 golden eagles just by playing.

2 victories (any mode) - 100 GE
5 victores - another 100 GE
10 victories - another 200 GE


Unfortunately, they've also been under recurrent DDoS attacks the last couple of days.

and it's over... Didn't manage to grab any GE myself. Also lag, either DDoS induced or my own connection's fault was bad enough that half my deaths were due to it flying me into the ground.

Managed to get 200 GE on 6 victories.

Meanwhile, Good Guy Gaijin has decided to hold another Golden Eagle event next Sunday and do it twice so that people in timezones where it crazy late/early can play too. Plus, everyone will get 100 GE for their first victory.

Yeah, I gotta say...Gaijin really does a good job with PR and being friendly to the userbase.

Played 3 matches of the hardest day event (historical) got 4, 5 and 5 kills, didnt won a single game, rage quited, the ammount of allied aircraft on that map and not having a place to reload makes it almost imposible, even when a single player kills 1/3rd of the enemy team, even when the rest of the team has 1 or 2 kills its not enough. I think its a little too much.

Actually it's not to help those who have been unfortunate, they've either been suffering server failures, or DDOS attacks depending on who you ask. And a lot of people weren't able to even access the events because of it.

Having another day of GE events is, yes. But having two of them rather than just one was (by their own admission on the webpage) to help alleviate the problem for people in timezones where the event would be inconvenient to attend.

i think there is a little bit of land in the south east of the map... they could throw an airfield on there maybe.
