Today evening I will play while partly drunk. I will be sure to edit this here post and register for posterity all these glorious drunken mistakes.

I hope I don't ram more people because I fail a BnZ manoeuver... admittedly that was pretty funny

Edit: first match, not doing very well, 1 kill only.

edit 2: second match, 3 kills, nothing really noticeable, didn't ram the ground due to failed maneuvers, yet !

Edit: More matches, more kills, not much, this was a rather poor session. Ah well.

Too bad the only thing that happens to me when I do that is I make an ass of myself and get a warning.

Excepted for the heavy fighters which die far too easily... meanwhile the IL2 is EVEN more invulnerable than in 1.37/39 and the Blenheims/Beauforts are made of imported stalinwood. And of course there's them ishaks and LaGG's who can ram people and not only survive, but survive without too much performance loss.

I love my stalinwood biplane slaying Blenheim.

First time playing the game, literally finished tutorial 15 minutes ago, thrown into game.

finished as best player with 5 kills and one death (at the very end of the battle). Got awarded 17 medals, including professional, win streak, the best squad and terror of the sky, which I like the sound of. 1389 points and 6291 silver lions.

People get smarter once you see the upper tiers, but you can often do well anyway.

Hopefully. There's a lot of complete idiots who managed to slip by and completely wreck the balance of the upper tiers with their terrible flying.

Yah, theres been a bunch of sillybuggers messing up the higher tiers, and screwing over the lower tiers while they where at it.

You were playing biplanes. You get jack shit in rewards when playing biplanes.

It's a bit sad, really.

I remember the time before 1.37 where biplane tier was biplane tier. You had Chaikas in there and they murdered everything else, but at least you didn't get clubbed by ishaks/laggs/hurricanes/buffalos/etc.

Reserve level is your true biplane tier. Tier I is for murdering biplanes. Or for being on the receiving end of Chaikas doing their best impression of Elton John's "Rocketman".


Why is it when I'm playing against M4A1 Shermans, they're Superman. But when I'm driving one, it's Clark Kent? 

Or why, when I take out my German tier II tanks, I get thrown into a high tier III battle? If I take out my Soviet tier IIIs, I'm facing tier IVs. I'm guessing if I can ever field tier Vs, I'll be facing hovertanks with laser cannons.

even if anything non-russian is just painful to fly. 2 7.62mm MG's ? really ? especially with the biplane toughness buff ? May as well be Ram Thunder: Ram Harder Edition.

I would fly the shit out of my two CR42's and my Gladiator, but they're noticeably higher BR and therefore get clubbed hard.

Peashooters ? Meh. Ki-10's ? No, I am so not taking this thing in a battle again. He-51's ? I remember them as painful memories. Fury ? LOL

Wierd, innit? In post tanks, when I see a Sherman I try to hide (unless Im in a T-80, dunno why but I love that little bastard), when I am a sherman everyone penns every time.

Its not that bad ofcourse, just seems that way...
