Kent calms as you go over your real story. He finally stands and shakes your hand hastily, apparently satisfied, before ushering you through a doorway you didn't notice before, down the longest hallway you will ever see in your life, and into the company of likewise unfortunate persons. They gawk at you, and you gawk back.

Kent shoves his chair roughly backwards and pulls you into a reluctant handshake. The next thing you know you're tumbling heel over head into a steel box with a bunch of other morons who managed to get themselves stuck in the same situation. They all stare for a moment before letting their eyes fall once more to the ground, in which they had curiously discovered a profound interest in. You start to find it interesting too, after an hour of utter silence.

Kent nods slowly, glancing from time to time at the portfolio on the table between. As your tale wraps up, he speaks, choosing his words carefully. Yes.. Rather unfortunate what happened to your friend there. You say you killed it with a frying pan?

You nod.

He shakes his head, chuckling quietly to himself. That's impressive. You should see how many men we lose just dealing with half of one of those bastards! Looks like you've got the job.

He leads you into a room and shuts the door behind you, leaving you trapped inside with the rest of the undesirables.

Running a hand through his slicked short red hair, Will frowns. "Hm. Well. I'm not one to complain but this is starting to really become a pain in the bones. Let me introduce myself, I'm Will or O'bryan if you prefer."

"Exotics, er uh, aliens depending on who you work for and what you call em. Either way, apparently the government wants me dead enough to call me up, offer me a job with some jumble letter acronym organization I've never heard of, get a last confession, and then starve me to death with a bunch of other guys in a sardine tin. I suppose I was at the wrong place at the wrong time."
