I meant for this to be in RTD. I'd totally make it a d20 game with stats and things but I haven't the slightest idea how to go about that. I'll probably lock this in a sec unless I can figure out d20 in about 30 minutes.

Well, at its simplest...
1. Roll d20's
2. Add modifiers
3. See if you hit the Difficulty Class

I understand rolling things, and I sort of understand modifiers, but Difficulty Class goes right over my head.

That's just the number you need to equal or exceed. 10 for a pretty simple task most people could succeed at on their first try, 15 for one which you'd need to try harder at, 20 for something almost out of reach for normal people, etc.

Hm. Makes sense, though I haven't the time to prepare for that sort of thing, and I don't have the experience to do it on the fly. Not to mention there's a good chance I'd royally FUCK the scaling. Unless anyone has any bright ideas (or there's something I'm missing), I'll move it to the poor people RTD thread tomorrow.

OP updated, stats are now included. Do I let you guys allocate the points or do I roll for it? Can I go either way? If so I'd like to let you guys handle that. If not, or if random is better or more comfortable for you, how exactly do I roll for it?

Thats what I was wondering. Since 10 is the average, perhaps I'd roll 3d6 until I get a number between 8 and 12? Rinse and repeat? Or something…?
