Or a single hand-and-a-half sword.
Ow, Inheritance flashbacks.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Murtagh isn't the only guy to use them. Hand-and-a-half swords existed IRL as well.
...Why Inheritance, specifically? I'm pretty sure Murtagh stopped using his hand-and-a-half by the end of Eldest.

It was the first(and only) time I have come across the term 'Hand-and-a-half' in regards to swords.

More familiar with the term "bastard sword"?

(I suppose they were probably pretty uncommon. They were too big to easily fight with one hand and bigger swords could be used in two.)

So that explains the bastard sword in Mount&Blade being both a one handed, and two handed weapon.

Bastard sword also sounds cooler!

Less javierpwn' post is a vote we are at a tie on weapons. I would combined the choices, but Gilgamesh' weapons is duel broadswords so unless you're fine with duel bastard swords I need a tiebreaker(or a dark horse victory)

Turn 2

You wander through the treasure trove of weapons. Axes, spears, swords, what ever these tubes with little sticks under them are, you look high and low for your weapon. Your eyes sweep over a simple looking, but large sword when you are stuck by a feeling. Walking to the bastard sword, you pick it up.

To your slight frame, the blade seem way too big, it as long as you are tall for crying out loud, but as you start going through your sword katas, despite your knowledge that this blade should be impossible for you to use, it feels perfect.(what I think it look like tell me if you lot had a different idea.)

“Well now you got your weapon, shall we continue?” you blush when you remember that Adam was still in the room and here you are waving your sword about.

Following Adam around the town he show you the hospital, the shops and the mission building. “And that the end of the tour. The last things to do is to pick a place for you to stay and a squad to join, any questions? And here the lists.”

(Pick a house, can be anything, but it will lack furnitures and be sensible, there are no castles laying about)
Squads are
Graveyard
Lieutenant Adam The Survivor
Race: Awaken ghoul
Class: Samurai
Element: Water
Heaven
Lieutenant Ash The Unlucky
Race: Angel
Class: Knight templar
Element: Light
Geek
Lieutenant Trope-tan The Collector
Race: Human
Class: Troper
Element: Data
Star
Lieutenant Haktulara The Nightmare
Race: Turu'nali
Class: Shredder
Element: Earth
Thief
Lieutenant Louise The Blood Wave
Race: Cain
Class: Hunter
Element: Cloths
Corridor
Lieutenant Archer The Messenger
Race: Cat
Class: Scout
Element: Sound

also
Champion
Commander Gilgamesh The Impossible
Race: wood elf
Class: Blood knight
Element: Blood
but this is not a choice. This is the best of the best squad.

Star. House wise, go for some sort of carved stone hut in the side of a cliff if possible - reminds us of home. Otherwise, some other sort of earth focused dwelling for the same reasons.

I vote House Geek and an (eventual) elaborate underground base, for now just a hobbit-hole or equivalent.

And how tall is Mila?
