I have sad news, The great Nimarnish has died of old age, ascending unto heaven to become a god. I have placed her into her own tomb where dwarves forevermore shall pay respect. I will be building a shrine around the tomb in gold and platinum once the next caravan shows up and I can buy a few more gold/platinum bars. Long live her memory. I'll post pics later.

Well, it happened. I told you to get a necro . If the god is undead, you can sacrifice living things nobles to it.

Normally I'd oppose such a thing, but Yaks of War do transcend morality. At least the Yak got a worthy death.

I am touched by the level of devition from this Yak. A true saint. None shall forget the name Nimarnish!

Edit: Does anyone know whether there is any way to add Nimarnish as a god?

Gods are created during worldgen, and I can't remember there being a way to force a certain type of deity to a civ. What you could do though, is add a custom engraving and just portraying the godly yak there. I think it goes in descriptor_shape_standard, I can't remember since it's been so long I last added a custom engraving.
