Nvidia Geforce GT 555M on a laptop here. Runs everything on at least decent settings.

I wanted to post here more to just drool over Nvidia's Titan or whatever they called it. 1000 dollars of graphics card is completely absurd, but hoooly shit I want it so badly.

Using a Radeon 5850 I've had for years still, all the rest of the parts in my desktop are only a month old but I'm gonna wait on that big purchase.

EVGA GTX 460 1 GB here. Got it two or three years ago. Has a lifetime warranty, which has come in handy since it has already died twice and had to be replaced. :V

Of course, I would prefer that it not have died, but I'd rather have a lifetime warranty while it still works well in 95% of games (looking at you, planetside 2) than to have to buy a new card to replace it.

I have a rooooling 8500GT on my main system, it's actually plenty to run old games and even not-so-old strategy games like Hearts of Iron III/Europa Universalis etc.

I have a 7970 on a newer system, but so far I have only played FTL and  a couple of other low-demand games on it and mainly let it sit and mine Bitcoins :D  (At which it is about 110x faster than the 8500GT)

I've got a radeon hd 7750 and it's run everything I've thrown at it quite smoothly at high settings. As I recall, I picked it up for somewhere around $120.

Some screenshots of various games I've played using the card:

A Radeon 5870. It is holding up surprisingly well considering it was not cutting edge when I bought it, but instead hit the sweet spot of value for money and still being good.

It is still running games well enough that I won't replace it yet.

Generally I would not recommend buying the top of the line cards unless you really like running high resolutions of the latest games and pushing hardware to the limit. The value for money on cards like Titan and GTX680 is just not very good. You are paying a lot of money for the last bit of performance. Someone who is rich won't care, but if you have a budget there are better choices.

If I was to get a new card today I would probably go for a GTX650Ti or a GTX660Ti.

I don't know about you but I considered the 660Ti expensive when I got it lol... :P That's why I called it high end haha.

Titan JUST came out. Like, two days ago. I just got an email from EVGA about it yesterday. Amusingly, according to wikipedia, it still only supports DirectX 11.0 (yet has 6 GB of RAM, 50% more RAM than I have in my PC). Come on, get with the program, NVidia! Where's the DX 11.1 support! :P

Mine is an ATI Radeon HD 5450. It's made for rendering youtube videos at 1080p and not much more.

My brother's is an Nvidia Geforce GT 640. It's good for running Borderlands 2 at high (but not max!) settings at a solid 40-60 FPS.

I've been using this GeForce 8600GT for so long. It used to run everything I could find, which surprised me. But now I'm lucky if it runs anything newly released even on the lowest possible settings. I'm using an 1680x1050 monitor so lowering the resolution can get awkward, but generally helps. A little bit. No upgrade for me in the foreseeable future, I'd better get used to replaying all of the old stuff over and over again.

GTX 550 ti here, and while it doesnt run all the newest game at max, it still a very potent game for mid range PC ( frigging recession eating all my money... else i would get a 660 or better ).

Can get one from 100 to 200$ depending on accessory you want/need. HDMI?/Dual Monitor?/SVIDEO perhaps? It all depends mainly on *addon* you wants on it and some memory difference.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

I've got a Radeon HD 6550. Can run almost anything on high graphics except for a few things. (Planetside 2) $100.
