Alright, Africa is a solid choice.

What country is Sirus from?

Oh my god, I have the worst stats out of everyone.
Well, you might always get lucky with levelups. But yes, as they stand those stats are abysmal. On the other end of the spectrum, report Stworca for hacking. :P

Oh yes, and I mentioned this briefly in the OP but forgot to mention it again: If you'd like to trade with another player, you may.

Finally, deciding when to hire yet more soldiers is something we should figure out. They're 10 credits apiece on Normal.

Rackafrackin... hold on a moment...

Russia.

Do you have Slingshot and its additional armor customization (I think it has it)? Also, out of curiosity, how much funding do we get from each country?

Anyway, oh hey I thought I would be a girl. Wooo boobies. Also, it appears that four of our first troops are really good shots (Accurate Heavy? Crazy), while Spaghetti is a well of will.

Haven't played XCOM for a while, so I don't really remember the numbers. Anyway.

Name: Tarretta
Last name: Smithette
Race: Any as long as it isn't silly
Head: Any as long as it isn't silly
Skin Color: Something white
Hair/Helmet: 14
Hair Color: Don't care because all helmet wearers are bald
Armor Deco: #2 all the time because blah to the the default boob-showing armor
Armor Tint: Anything blue that doesn't have conflicting colors that make me look like a Power Ranger, and isn't overly saturated

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

I do not and that is a good question, respectively. Unfortunately the Situation Room is still currently locked for reasons I'm not entirely clear on, so that'll remain a mystery for the time being.

Also which races are "silly," eh Tarran? :P

Oh, right, the Situation Room is locked at the beginning. I forgot that.

I don't know because I don't have XCOM up. Just anything that doesn't look like a distorted monster and seems appropriate for the skin color.

I think there might be two helmets that fit that criteria: I believe both the tall and stubby helmets have small visors.

Good aim but shit will.
I must be a sniper.
You're gonna be an Assault now that you've said that. Enjoy being an alien plaything.

Didn't expect an update so soon.

I'm split whether or not to take advantage of my feminine nature, and have Lizzie Shinkicker from the other XCom LP make a cameo in this one as well. Otherwise, just make me a (mid-long hair) redhead with a purple-gold armor color theme.

Well, you might always get lucky with levelups. But yes, as they stand those stats are abysmal.
I have to not die to level up.

Name: Mish "Orion" Chrisson.
Race: Caucasian
Head: Don't care
Helmet: Helmets are for redshirts.
Hair Color: Grey or Black
Hair Style: I'll take the X-Com Cut if you have it, otherwise don't care.
Armor Deco: The fancy looking one, not the regular body armor.
Armor Tint: Turquoise or Aqua

Chrisson, like his namesake from the other X-Com LP, hates Psionics with a burning passion and will prioritize killing aliens displaying it if he can, but will not start to do this until X-Com begins to understand what Psionics actually are (through autopsy or interrogations of aliens that can use it).

Alright, I am all willed up.
I don't have many requests, other than:
White armour tint
I should probably get a medkit
And I should play as the squad nice guy: don't concentrate on kills, concentrate on getting everyone back alive.

Going to re-submit my character preferences from the previous LP, while I still remember.

Spoiler: Appearance (click to show/hide)

First Name: Enforcer
Last Name: Alpha
Nickname: I'll decide later, I guess.
Gender: Robotic, but Male is closest.
Nationality: Uh... Surprise me. Hopefully not some random African country. USA would be preferred, but not essential.
Class: Assault or Heavy, I hope. I'll post what items/upgrades I want once I know what class Enforcer is.
Playstyle: Aggressive with lots of explosions and/or dakka. Not suicidal though, so if Enforcer is low on health it'll retreat behind cover.
Background: The Enforcer Project is headed by Professor Able Standard, and is tasked with creating the ultimate robotic soldier for XCOM and the defence of the planet. Enforcer Alpha is the first of the Enforcer robots ready for field testing, and hopefully will preform as expected.

Also, I vote that we start in Africa, and save the extra satellite we have either until we build another Uplink, or until a country reaches full panic.

First Name: Max/Maxmillia
Last Name: Green
Nickname: Clone
Gender: Doesn't matter, clones come in either gender.
Nationality: Max was an American, but the clones don't care, so long as they can kill some aliens.
Class: Clones come in all classes, but are predisposed to being Heavies and Assaults.
Playstyle: Scout ahead of the party, and blow stuff up as needed. Fight aggressively.
Background: Max Green was a fighter pilot in the very first wave of recruits against the alien menace. He showed a lot of potential, but was shot down in an unexpected encounter while returning from a routine mission that left him low on fuel and out of ammo. Enough of his remains were scraped together to clone, and six genetic siblings were made. The XCOM project has authorization to utilize any and all of the clones as they see fit, but should be warned: despite their friendly and cheerful disposition, they are mentally unbalanced. They are highly predisposed to causing large explosions whenever the opportunity arises. As noted by my esteemed colleague, Dr. Vahlen, this is a highly effective way to kill aliens, but may damage our research into their weapons and other artifacts.
