Does anyone else get a stupid amount of lag when opening or using any sort of interface window (like the PDA, vending machines, character setup, etc)? So far it's only happened on one server, but nobody else there seems to have the same issue.

I wouldn't be surprised, my computer nearly killed itself when I used the Centcomm master computer to view cameras. Also iirc, handheld cameras can lag the server to it crashing sometimes, it's weird.

I find Discord extremely unsatisfactory when posting ideas and am too scared to shit up the github. So: I propose we bring back antag captains and etcetera, with an exception maybe for IAA/other NT liaisons.

"Captain antags are cancer?" All our antags aren't ever what we want them to be. The Captain part is irrelevant. Access? When has access ever stopped a traitor? Tools abound. If anything, Captains just have a bit more freedom to carry out gimmicks. Which is a good thing. Gimmicks may fall flat as they often do, but, again, our antags feel less than stellar often.

Making a certain group of jobs unable to be antagged just turns traitor mode into a team game between people you can absolutely trust and people you can't, which is frankly the opposite of a 'watch your back and don't trust anyone' gamemode.

Plus we don't even really have loyalty implants anymore and I doubt we'll ever get them back.

I was sure that Glloyd/Deacon was going to shoot me like he did the assistant, played by himself. Sudden escalation to a firefight would've been fun to watch if only to see how allegiances would fall among the two Blueshields, security officer, and HoP in the area.

A straight-up round-long Glloydrev event would be nice. I think the Lactera plot and traitors cheapened the experience a little bit that time around.

Yeah, the traitors were accidental, because I wasn't going to do the event, so I started it as tator, but then a ton of people joined, so I went ahead with it anyways and tried to incorporate the tators.

The Discord was discussing maybe a new gimmicky wizard spell? Powerful 3x3 or so forcefield that lasts a while, but as a tradeoff the wizard obviously can't attack anyone outside it, or maybe even escape it himself (Jaunt and Blink would have to somehow be circumvented by this) until the forcefield goes down naturally/by wizard's choice.

Could be good for hostage situations or just locking yourself in and taunting all the losers outside that want to beat you up.
