Yer they should. I only know because I put one in the blender because I wanted to make food pills.

Food pills are fun in practice, but I've found that people need really little nutriment so they never are useful, although adding 1 nutriment to 10 unit of iron makes for great blood supplement pills.

And I suppose you can also make criminals in permabrig fat so that they can't run away.

Well now that I now how to make synthetic meat. As a chemist I make 10 synthetic meat (1u clone'a'whatsit to 5u of blood get you one meat I don't know if it matters but I add the blood from a needle 5u's at a time) and just grind that up and make 3 10u nutriment pill and that lasts me most of the game and with pill bottle's being able to go in suit storage making it so you can access it with out having to put it in your hand, it makes it no problem to just pop one when you start getting hungry. Plus when you give one to someone and tell them its got synthetic meat made out of your blood in it. Its quit funny.

I like doing something similar to that when i get people to clone. If I am quick enough dragging them into the cryo and then into the sleeper and do dialysis, sometimes it reacts with the cryo mix I make and meat starts to pop out of the sleeper.
