I see that tg is open source. If I know how to fix an issue, I just submit a pull request, right?

Yes. We're baycode but it's always worth fixing any bugs on any server. Github is black magic, by the way.

why do you want to work with things without knowing how they work

holy shit this is why ss13 would put an italian restaursnt in a manic depressive state
LSP, I don't think you understand. Nobody knows how BYOND works. It's just spaghetti heaped upon spaghetti.
Dammit, now I'm hungry.

Everytime I see discussion about SS13 code and BYOND a little part of me starts screaming about a standalone.

Which standalone?  ;)

It's been tried a hundred times, and they've all failed.

And yet, in the darkness that is BEYOND, we wait. We wait for The One, the Messiah, that shall persevere and by his iron will and endless patience lead us out of the night and into the glorious promise that is a new Space Station 13.

Completely irrelevant, but SS13 is scary. The top-down view gives you no idea which way sounds are coming. Sometimes, I hear someone hacking, deconstructing or even shooting nearby, but when I go see what is going on, nobody is there, because I apparently went to look in the wrong direction. I return to where I was, and then the sounds come back. Again, search another direction, nothing. This goes on until I go insane from paranoia.

I don't know how this feels because I never play with volume.  :P

Headphone player. I can hear where things come from.

I'm playing with headphones plugged in but not on my head, usually. The damn hallway ambience is making me sleepy with its monotone drone.

maybe as a short term test, I am worried that footstep sounds might become more annoying then its worth to have.
