Absorbed victims cannot be cloned unless genetics uses a monkey creatively. They can still be turned into cyborgs because the brain is fine.

I'm going off of personal experience as both the victim and a friend of the victims. Hell, I remember Will sauce getting his hardest ling objective ever: clone everybody you eat. He hated it, but he did it.
