So I noticed the xenoarch shield thingamajigger rotates counter-clockwise despite the tooltip's insistence that it rotates clockwise.

You know, I want to get into this again. I REALLY do, but this game has an inability to hold my attention now.

I'll probably rediscover it in a few years...

A break is good for anyone, sometimes you just have too much spess. I'm probably going to wait until I get bored of DF after the release.

The game also has an inability to hold a connection to my computer. It's annoying.

Love this game, got back aboard the crazy train while I waited for the new release. Immediately remembered why I quit: It's hard to play this game when you keep permanently disconnecting for no reason. I always hated that, and I always hated byond for it. Still, the game itself is fun enough to make up for that, and I'll be checking out the standalone remake if they ever finish it.

So because I am a scrub as far as far as literature is concerned, I only just started reading the Foundation trilogy by Isaac Asimov.
Still, I think that the concept of the Foundation as pitched to the Emperor could be a good idea for a funmin round. Obviously shortened to a shorter limit than 300 years, but still basically making the entire station's objective to research as much science as possible under time pressure, and other pressures too I suppose.

Mainly because while the station is supposed to be for research there don't tend to be many people playing scientists. Some solid motivation to do so would be nice.

I vaguely recall people talking about restyling the station as a primary mining station, 'cause that's what we do here, but I don't remember if anything happened after that.
