Back on the map stuff, someone needs to make a hippie map, basically a giant cube with lots of grass and trees instead of halls, with each department having it's own building.  Not sure if it is feasible though.

I'm guessing a code is a map right? And the things that come with it.

A code is all the items, mobs, runtimes and maps, yes.

It also has kinda evolved into the groups view of the game, with bay being straight RP to the point of bullshit, Goon being bullshit to the point of bullshit, /TG/ going between pure bullshit and less-bullshit bullshit, and us (Urist) being a mixture of bullshit.

Oh, hippy map wont work (WELL) thanks to z-levels. Perhaps some day

clowns are so expected to screw with the mimes. It's in the fluff - they have a sort of national or species rivalry going.

Goon are generally very protective of their code, only allowing contributors to view it. Their code, in my opinion, is very good in some aspects.
its not. gooncode is, from a contributor's point of view, HORRIFYINGLY TERRIBLE. All the code we have seen so far was just terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE. Side note: these things weren't really leaks, just people asking the devs for code.

It may be good feature-wise, but it's a horrible unbalanced laggy unmaintainable mess in all other aspects.
Or, at least, that's what me and other coders have deduced from the available code and things said by drsingh and tobba. (Although I can't really imagine tobba writing terrible code)

And there is literally no tension at all between gooncoders and other coders. Their code may be closed source but that's really just because it's how they keep their easter eggs secret, as they should be.

Even if gooncode became available, it wouldn't be very useful. There's been 4 years of development on both sides of the r4407 release, so things have changed a LOT.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

I found a hover pod as a xeno arch. It was a mech that could only field non special modules, I wish I could build them.

Oh, so that's what those are? I was confused when I was mapping with Dream Maker.

Think of them as very slow mechs that can only house civilian modules. I don't think they have much health either.

Well, it has a huge airtank. Camp in it as the entire station depressurizes.

The xeno arch scanner said it had schizo tech hull plating and electronics. But it was meant for engineering purposes.
