I don't really see the point in switching my character since you can tell I'm terrible at RP, choosing a name, new facial features etc. is very difficult for me. Besides, the character I play doesn't really have a fleshed out backstory or even personality, I just go with the flow. Although I might have a bunch of random other guys if I feel like it from now on.

My character comes from an obscure colony world whose culture revolves around cloning. That explains why someone with the same name and face might be a medical doctor one shift and a miner another - they're actually different people. Also, that's why sometimes he'll be an enemy operative or a deranged cultist. Yes, I have hinted at this in IC conversations from time to time.

As for my person, Quarc (I dont really play as him these days) is just a drunkard.

Owen on the otherhand has a backstory, that will be edited in as a spoiler.

Ah, I see. From reading the code, they seem kind of OP tbh. They don't feel pain, they don't need oxygen, the only way to stun them is with Ion rifles or EMP's... So yeah. I might remove them as well.

Not that hard. Does the borg flash work on them? It probably should.

So, they are borgs without the borg-specific weakness of having no hands, which was SPECIFICALLY introduced to prevent borgs from being Humans 2.0? There's a word for that, and 'smart' is not it.

My issue is that the people who play the alien races on Bay are generally god damned awful at those races roleplay.
My biggest point is that the Tajaran and IPCs are basically meant to be recently released slaves, refused command roles because they tend to be huge push overs and the like but everyone who plays them does so as a highly aggressive mary sue in a fur suit.
Theres one in particular who plays an aggressive security officer as a Tajaran, so I called out how bad I thought he was in deadchat, turned out to be a damned admins character and "He wasn't raised on the Tajaran home-world so he is exempt".
Basically pulling the school yard kids "You cant shoot me I have a forcefield".
If you can avoid that and scrutinize people not being fucking supah speshul snowfrakes the races play out well.
