A bug was just fixed.
All handcuffed monkeys could bite humans.
And those humans would instantly turn into monkeys, a la jungle fever or monkey mode.
even if those monkeys weren't antags or infected.

That bug has probably been around for years, but nobody found it.
Thank random geneticist monkey yesterday for making me find this bug. If he was a good little chimp and didn't vandalize the bridge, this nightmare would still be hiding in the code.

When's the server going up?

Also extended is the best roundtype because there's actually call for some of my favourite jobs (lawyer and to an extent librarian).

Badmin is the best round type for RP heavier jobs.

What exactly is Badmin? Is it that horror-type round? I love those.

Also, librarians are the bomb.

the b in badmin is short for "best" so you've got "bestadmin" rounds which focus mostly on admins influencing rounds with their shenanigans

Is there a bug on Urist where librarians can't print books or something? I don't think I've ever gone into the library and not found all of the shelves empty. Maybe our librarians are just irresponsible. Also I ordered a librarian to bring me a copy of Woody's Got Wood as the captain and he never did, and I never got around to having him executed for insubordination.

The server doesn't draw from the server where all the books are kept.
Also you can't execute people as captain in a normal round. It's against space-law.

can't remember if mcstation actually has the sql backend for a library active

or any books in stock for the matter

does anyone honestly play librarian we could reuse that area as f.ex. a giant laser cannon that can be hacked to fire at the insides of the station

Or the librarian could take it upon himself to copy-paste books off of the internet onto pieces of paper using a pen.

Even better, he could scrawl the books on the floor of the library in his own feces crayon.

Yes, people do honestly play librarian. It's among the few times anyone uses the newscaster. A bored HoP being another user.

The library database has been down for some time, I think.

I use newscaster as the lawyer to try and make security look bad. Unfortunately nobody ever reads it.
