Comms has its own SMES, so it won't go out if the main grid goes down. That'd just be too much if a power sink knocked out comms.
Likewise, the AI has its own SMES, for similar reasons.

The way things are now, there's absolutely no need for an additional power source.  There's already the slightly risky but super effective singulo, and the safe, but labor intensive solars.  What purpose does a turbine have? With the garbage power output they have, they're less effective than the solars, take longer to set up, and are less safe (although still pretty safe really).

If there was ever a reason the station needed a burst of power, the turbine would be good, but it doesn't, and even if it did, you'd just wire the singulo to the grid.


Not having power just sucks. Almost nobody can do their job, and you need a crowbar to get around. 
I wish that power was more interesting than a quick chore at roundstart, but right now that's all it is most of the time.

Yeah... but by itself it doesn't generate enough power anyway.  I'm not saying it does nothing, but I'm saying that what it does do isn't really worth it. 

On the other hand, if it's a simple as dropping a turbine, some wires, a computer, and an SMES in the incinerator room... go for it I guess... it's less useless than the incinerator alone.  I just don't see the point of the thing

I made it part of the incinerator on our map, and the incinerator is behind Cargonia now.

Hey, what do you thing would happen if, to fire accurately, all non-pistols (tasers are pistols) need to be held in both hands?
Or, for that matter, all guns?

Colonial Marines does this and it's a clusterfuck. It's glitchy trying to drop guns and half the time the guns have similar sprites to other guns and you unload a gun that can be used one-handed and try to shoot a two-handed gun later on and unwield/wield forever when trying to switch an e-gun's kill/stunmode or pump a shotgun.

Yeah, I can't seem to connect to the main server.

EDIT: And Vactor, if you have a chance to update, that would be awesome.
