Cool, I'll commit that then. Next time Vactor updates, that'll be our new entry screen. In addition, I'm going to update the MOTD to give a broader understanding of our server. And once I get over this cold and get my voice back, I'll make that tutorial.
Great new title screen and updated MOTD? Glloyd, you just made my day.  :)

I try, I try.  :)

Glloyd. After playing as a chaplain I suspect that he does not have a box of matches anywhere in his office or the chapel, or at least any that I could find to light candles with.

I did ask and no-one could point me towards them.

Did you try the cigarette vendors?

I suppose that would work...

Kinda loses the mystique of a priest when he needs to go hit the cigarette machine though...

Heh.

You can also light them with welders, and probably common lighters. Can't use energy swords, though.

Hrmm. I wonder if you can use a Plasma Cutter to light stuff. It does function as a welder when destroying walls, and does burn damage.

I did not know this. What are its specs? Fit on a tool belt? Pockets? Belt? Capacity compared to regular welder?

15 fire damage, same as a welder. Can't fit on a toolbelt or in a pocket, but it fits on your belt slot and in a backpack. It has infinite uses, but can't do very much aside from replacing a welder when destroying walls. It's also the most fitting weapon to use when fighting necromorphs.

It is also used for mining.

I seem to remember it being bad for mining when compared to the pick.

First: Glloyd, you are a genius of the highest caliber.

Second: I learned that teleporting someone out of a mech leaves them stuck in the mech interface. I have no idea how to undo that, either.
Blow it up. Black magic teleports them to the wreck and KOs them, but they're free.
They changed it? IIRC black magic makes them ride the magical fairy ejection seat popping them out unharmed. I survived a bombing because I had just finished building a ripley, and was delivering it to mining, because of the Black magic fairy dust ejection seat.

I've always just used admin powered to edit the mech's occupant variable to null, since that is the issue. It works well because there should be no teleporting someone out of a mech w/o admin powers being used to begin with.

The plasma cutter's fucking brutal in melee combat, if I remember correctly.

So are diamond drills,I believe they do more then the doom saw.((surgical saw)) and plasma cutter is indeed brutal, especially against necro((xeno)morphs.
