A cloak is a cloak, a cape is a cape. capes are awesome and desirable in this game for aesthetic purposes, not functionality. Capes were status symbols ... if you wora a cape, someone else was carrying your stuff. Cloaks are way cooler, only a fool would think otherwise, because hooded cloak > cape. Capes are cliché anyway.
