Ran a rather RP-y Wizard/cult round, where the Lych was searching for his phylactery, and progressively became both more powerful, and more dangerous and lethally inclined.

This is about at the climax of it, after 90% of the crew has either died or been soul-stoned, with only a few left in changed forms or hiding from the constructs:

Vines EVERYWHERE, broken walls and stuff all over the place. Random piles of remains in the halls, blood, piles of equipment, xeno gibs. This place has it all.
I missed this.
If you want more people, probably best to play something non-sandbox.

This. So much. Sandbox is lolnologout for me.

Everyone wants to continue it, and it just gets annoying when it continues for too long. Spiders, wrecked everything, murder and destruction, LOLEINATH...

When people build instead of fuck with shit none of that happens. Really, sometimes sandbox just winds up being extended.

Honestly the 'lollogout' attitude is just plain stupid. Most of the time we switch to sandbox it's because there's barely anyone to constitute playing secret. And the fact that people just log out instead of staying just makes it harder to get the population we need to switch back to secret.

Nope. Sandbox is boring, there's no conflict, there's no reason for the round to end. People stay for secret, they leave for sandbox. I've voted sandbox into secret several times, and the population always climbs when people see there's actually a game being played, and not just people fucking around.

18 players, no admins.

Wut.

I'd log on if my internet wasn't being a dick and I could actually download those damned resources.

I'm still lusting after trialmodding, by the way.

I am vaguely interested on how to become a mod as well.

Just played a round at virologist, after successfully curing the cold and flu (after a short period of mental liablity) a lethal flesh eating disease almost killed half the station, finally chemistry (who are not prudent, thank you) gets some lipozine to cure that, meanwhile people continue to open a locker labelled: highly contagious for reasons unknown and get infected. In the end, Noble virologist gets spaced trying to escape. :O

If you have an absurdly powerful virus, you can permutate it a bit to get two very similar viruses with different cures, making the outbreak much harder to contain.

Basically, ask some admins to sponsor you. I think you need two regular admins, or you need to befriend Android (since he's headmin)
You only need one admin you sponsor you.
