Five hour+ round, with about six crew the whole time. Started the engine as usual, then went into space and built my crib. After that, in no particular order, Alina and I had a picnic (food: donuts, location: hallway outside bridge), we looted the armory, we were visited by Armok, I floated in space and fought carp with my energy sword and nearly died about five times, burned down the southern half of research (also with Alina), got a badass firefighter Ripley with a repair droid, cable layer, and RCD, destroyed a possessed space piano ("The space piano laughs") with C4, and probably some other things I can't recall right now.
Hector found one SSD Armok in the dorms and Alina shot him with lasers and stabbed him with my energy sword. Shika was the robot master that round. He built medibots as usual as well as a Gygax, two firefighters, a Durand, and would've built an Odysseus if we could get the crate. We spent so long on that round and I was the only traitor, sent to kill Shika. We just stopped caring and roleplayed for a long time. If research hadn't burned down, a bluespace event ripped out the central hallway windows, probably close to a hundred carp didn't swarm the station, and other odd events, we could've kept that station alive even longer.
I also took screenshots of my cribs. I built three today.
This one even had a mini solar should I need to disconnect from the power grid for whatever reason. Since the most power-intensive thing in the room was the tracking computer itself, this didn't matter much. Nobody ever visited here.
(Note: Since the walls are in the way of my mesons, the tiles right above the air alarm and APC have windows and the grilles cover those missing bits)
This one is more advanced. It's bigger, wraps around the airlock, and has anti-meteor/carp shielding around it. Xavier, security officer, and Lillian, atmospheric technician visited this one. However, the stay was cut short by a rod and we left in a hurry. While I was fixing up the station, I was murdered by Sarah, cloned, the singularity was released, and the shuttle was called. The floors in there were replaced with wooden ones, presumably by Glloyd, while I was dead so it looked way cooler.
This one was built during the round described in the wall of text at the start of this post. I like this one the most, possibly just because of the "arms" that go outwards and have things in them. It also has the shielding (which is even damaged in the shot above - right arm) which served me very well in keeping out odd meteors and rampaging carp. Two people visited: Alina and Samantha. Alina spacewalked with me and Samantha kind of... Teleported in, somehow. I actually spent a good bit of the round just hanging out here. I took another shot later on, when it actually had people.
That's Alina in the purple (color of EVIIIL. I also wired it to the grid with purple cable). The emergency locker is loaded with syndie-cakes and Pete-burgers. The locker on the right has some odd building materials, a bunch of circuit boards I never used, and Samantha is hiding in it for some reason. The disposal leads to an outlet right outside the airlock which would fire the trash out in random directions every time (One time it fired east to the solars, one time it fired north to the virology airlock, and one time it fired backwards and hit me in the face).
I like building little homes out in space, but I have one issue: Is there a way to make air alarms in custom areas WORK? Air scrubbers are flat out never detected by an alarm and vents are detected but will never turn on. This is annoying because every so often I need to bring an air pump to refill the atmosphere lost when going out the airlock. As a matter of fact, Samantha nearly died in #3 because she was the only one without internals when the pressure dropped too low. It's not something I
need to work, it'd just be nice. Also, why did that disposal fire in random directions when something came out?
