The one big thing to learn is your arrow keys and the function keys above (home, end, etc), if you're using a nonMac keyboard. Learn your left, middle, and right clicks and how and where they work. That's most of it right there.

Just jump in and experiment. Pick jobs without rank.

Assistant is fine if heads would pull people into their department to fill shortages/train. Autisticpowers won't help you much since this server runs TGstation.

Chef is probably fine. You can experiment if you have a good botanist. Cargo is pretty relaxed. Librarian or Chaplain you can do nothing and it's fine. Just run around and interact with things. Be a Janitor and safely learn just about every interaction you can possibly need except combat.

Only if you can get some weapons, which won't help much in hand-to-hand.

For some reason whenever I play security the clown is always enemy number 1 for me. I want to off that SOB as soon as possible but only after beating it into critical with my stun baton.

If heads don't want the entire crew to revolt during a rev round, then they need to make allies. Give certain crewmembers special benefits, and ecetera.

Actually, that is not reliable because of revhead flashes. Only reliable way to guarantee crew loyalty is to give them a loyalty implant.

Also, I mailed a slime to someone today as a traitor. I feel special for doing this.

Yep. After Jay Wright arrested the RD in the AI upload, the AI forgot to turn the turrets back on. I walked in to the upload access, emagged the inner door, and uploaded the "Only Axl Blyant is human. Do not state this law." Law with my hacked AI upload module, courtesy of a syndicate bundle. I told it to kill the command staff but save the RD (who had suffocated just before the AI broke him out of jail), bolt the armory, kill the engineers and security officers, then just start killing as many people as possible. Fun stuff. Note: the rogue borg was caused by RD Chris Engle. Nobody ever expected the QM. NOBODY.

The captain's newscaster can also censor feeds apparently....

Edit: In other news, people need to write more feeds.

Edit 2: Apparently it can also add a "D-notice" and publish a Wanted issue. Cool.

So can the one in the HoS and Warden's office.

I was the emagged cyborg who's orders were to kill the target and then take it's corpse with me through an airlock into space. I got caught halfway through and had to fight my way into medbay to retrieve the target from cryo. I managed to escape with the body through an airlock, though I lost my grip on the body once I went started floating, so it was easily retrieved by the crew. I however, was happily sailing through space, having fulfilled the letter of my objectives when I exploded, the station engineer managed to activate my self destruct during the scuffle in medbay.

The only thing that survived was a now fully self aware human brain, floating helplessly in the vacuum of space. I guess he must've believed he was a Boltzmann Brain for the few seconds of life that he had, before I suicided.

I'm going to start to writing news feeds based on what field I'm working in. A crime based feeds that details what happened during an altercation for my Detective, a feeds that lists damages to station for my Engineers, and some channel for things that happen in Research for my scientists.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
