Well, Lola might have used seduction as one of her primary tools of revolution, but it certainly wasn't me who asked that.
Oh man, that was fun. First time I've ever really played an antag, and only the second rev round I've been in.
That was so very intense, my pulse was literally pounding IRL.

Somehow, despite me getting downed instantly whenever shooting started, Lola Black survived. That was one of the most entertaining rounds I've had. I never even intended to START as the bartender, that was left over in my job preferences from an old character... I'm glad I did.

Yes, it's RP.  It's also a damn headache to make sure it doesn't cross into really creepy territory or harassment if someone isn't ok with participating/listening to it.  Keep it PG level, and for shit's sake do not make me deal with sexual harassment complaints.

In other news, yes, I still need to get together an actual rules list.  I'm supposed to be finishing a master's thesis in the next month, so I don't know when it will happen.

Honestly SS13 strikes me as an RP game. I don't see how else it could possibly be played and retain it's fun. Otherwise where's the uncertainty, and suspicion?
And why oh why would the ship start in such god awful condition!

Carp are not causing the lag on the server. KG believes its bandwidth related.

Well, such a situation did seem a bit fishy to me.

Also, that Rev round was a bit fun. Didn't participate much but hey.

So, as a paranoid janitor, I wandered around trying to keep my head down. Until some botanist graffitied all over the bar floor. I was ordered to clean it up and tried my best to not do as I was told. I wound up cleaning the kitchen then cleaning half the graffiti away. At this point I decided to "Lay low" until the real action began so that I could burst out and start plotting the captain's downfall. I went back to my little office and set the two bear traps cargo had given me in the doorways, and waited for a bit. This wasn't good enough. I remembered I'd dumped my cleaning grenades and pimpin' ride keys in a fire closet and decided I could pick them up and hide there instead. After awhile of hiding... Something hurt me. A lot. I suffocated in my confined hiding place and still don't know why.
This is where my story ended. And the epicness of the round began. First thing I noticed was that the botanist/hardened criminal, Danielle (The one who I had to clean up after) had been sent in to surgery for what appeared to be every operation under the sun. This turned out to be a ploy by the surgeon that meant that Danielle could assume Edwardo's identity, under the story that Edwardo had to have plastic surgery to survive, and that Danielle had died during surgery.
While this was happening, I heard from the other side of the ship that Kert the HoP had disobeyed the captain by reassigning people. At this point I believe Kert was given a loyalty chip.
When Sean the surgeon left the surgery however, Danielle found Edwardo's unconcious body and murdered him. It was probably about this time that Sean went to remove Kert's loyalty chip. I didn't get to see that though as Danielle proceeded to drag the body into Virology and murder the virologist as well.
This sort of backfired for Danielle however as this meant she (now he) was stuck in the medical bay for a large part of the time.
This is when the revolution started to build it's strength. I mainly just overheard snippets of revolutionary conversation during this time. I noticed Astrid was trying to peddle moonshine as the revolution gained strength. A chef's gotta rebel too, right?
The next bout of major action came when Kert went to engineering to release the singularity and frame Whitaker for it, only, Whitaker noticed and tried to fight Kert off. Hearing that Kert had been spotted Azrayel (the head of security, who I believe was chipped and subsequently unchipped) came to save him, attacking Whitaker with a flame thrower, killing Whitaker but burning all the air nearby and subsequently killing herself too. The Singularity by that point had escaped and ate part of engineering before mysteriously vanishing. Kert managed to escape engineering unharmed for the slimy show down with the captain. I'm pretty certain everyone else who played that round knows the rest.
