Another general tip: don't play on /tg/. You'll get bucklecuffed in the back of hydroponics without any shit on you for kicking the botanist out of chemistry as the chemist, and security doesn't give a fuck.

I'll take the non-existant population of this server over that any day.

E2: Moral of the story, if you see Danny Schmidth, find any way you can to "lolvalid" kill him, because he's a shitler and deserves it.

Downside to playing in engineering: everyone wants to fucking break in and steal your shit.

One time, this botanist on this very server actually broke in and started actively judging me for not setting up the engines. For fuck's sake, lady, I'm trying to get it set up. Another time, this janitor broke in and then foam grenaded me and the captain, stole his ID, then ran off. Being an engineer isn't worth it sometimes if you don't have a security force on hand. And sometimes even then you find the HoS walking and borrowing your gloves.

I'd say engineers are completely allowed to build stunprods early on. People constantly break into the engineering sector and will happily make off with all your supplies if you don't kick their asses out first.

Of course, the fun part is where you can refuse to set up the engine unless everyone gives me their tools back. And then perhaps hiding the particle accelerator so no-one can cheat.
