So, as I said earlier, I've played a round on BS12, and remembered one feature they have. Namely, if you have Harm intent on, you can do a quick stab with the syringe, breaking the syringe and injecting the contents.

The amount transferred is random, and even in the best case scenario you lose five units of the chemical (meaning if you have a syringe with 5u of only one chem, you will always fail to inject anything), and can turn out to be 0.

Also importantly, it does NOT apply to the lethal injection syringes (which, since they hold 50u, would make them instakills).

Shields protect against injection at all times, while armour is a coin toss.

This is basically ghetto Hypospray - it doesn't work all the time, being injected is highly visible, it's one use only (per syringe), and if the concern is about lolchloral, one word - syringe gun, which has all the functionality, except is guaranteed to always inject the full syringe and leaves no evidence, but is limited by its relative rarity.

-METEOR SHOWER HEADED FOR STATION - A Centcomm Report has alerted the crew of an impending meteor shower to hit the station in aproximately 6 minutes. All crew must brace themselves and stay away from the outer hull while qualified individuals reinforce Escape. Attempts to call the shuttle have been mysteriously recalled.

-SECURITY TEAM GEARING UP FOR METEOR STORM - The Security team has taken the security hardsuits from EVA to protect themselves from the impending Meteor Storm. They have confirmed that normal crewmembers can ask the AI to let them in EVA to aquire a space suit.

-METEOR STORM ARRIVES, ESCAPE HIT HARD - While the shuttle keeps being recalled, the meteors have arrived and are pounding Escape. Luckily, shield generators were set up in time and Escape is fine so far. No damage has been found to other parts of the station.

-METEORS NEARLY CLAIM FIRST VICTIM - Escape has been breached by Meteors and the meteors had nearly claimed their first victim. Luckily, he was saved by our excellent Chemist, Kaiden Riker.

-ESCAPE DESTROYED BY BIG METEORS - Big meteors the size of small bombs have hit Escape and destroyed the shield generators! Escape is now mostly a crater, all crew must stay in the central parts of the station when possible.
