rapid syringe gun

50 units water
50 units potassium

it's like injecting plasma into the captain's cigar
No.
Chemicals dont mix inside bodies.
They do on Baystation.

But not on /TG/, which is what we are using.

Baystation chemical system is, save for one fact, identical to /tg/'s. Namely, BS12 slowed down metabolism significantly, so it might be just that on /tg/, the chemicals are used up before they can mix. The easiest way to test if it's that or BS12's blood system would be to dip a cigar in, say, potassium, and while smoking it, drink sugar-phosphorus mix.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

No, it doesn't work like that on /tg/. On Bay, bodies are giant reagent vats, but they aren't on /tg/. Ask on #coderbus if you want to be sure. And if any of you have trouble coding something for this, go on #coderbus on irc.rizon.net, for fuck's sake. It's faster than posting here and the people there have more experience!

guys.

processing reagents in bodies is literally one fucking line in a config file hidden somewhere (don't remember where) that's either life.dm or the chemistry files

i assume people leave it on to dick with people who want to heal a guy in crit who's fucked up with toxins and i never play medical so it's an easy mistake to make stop shouting

Not on /tg/ code. There's quite some proof in the code for reagents not reacting inside bodies. Like the ehtryloxidation reaction in reagent_recipes having the comment "in case anyone ever implements reactions inside bodies" and checks for NOREACT in handle_reactions().

While this isn't solid proof, most of coderbus seems to agree that this doesn't happen and I've never seen it happen myself. It's NOT a config option either way (confirmed by coderbus).

I wish reagents would react in bodies :C, then we could have living bombs!

That would be horrible: Just walk around, drink the wrong thing and blind everyone for a couple of seconds.

A cornered rev swallows a pill and starts vomiting out poly acid/chloral/mindbreaker smoke. The possibilities...

This needs to happen. Altough you'd take tons of toxin damage by having these chems in you all the time. And smoke would also contain a lot of your blood, so you'd bleed out.

And polyacid and polyacid smoke got nerfed into the ground.
