I was minding my own business, enlisted by James of Freemesons to find him blackfolders. Decide to hide some toys into a toilet, so I lift the cistern and huh something is already inside? Pull a box out of the toilet, and lo and behold 6 pieces of intel are inside. Well hot diggity dog isn't this a lucky catch, when Hides-From-Light and Red run into the bathroom looking for intel. Tell them that I'm just hiding toys as I slowly put the box into my bag and run out the bathroom. PDA the leader of the Freemesons that I was interested in selling him some "information". When I ask him if he was willing to offer me a price he straight up tried to mug me and demanded me hand the folders over, so I just lied and said I believed that Red and Hides had some. He shoos me away, and I try to hit up Hides and Red to sell some to no avail. Ended up selling all my intel to James and came out of that round 10k richer.

Also, whoever made the new brig

It appears that it automatically over-pressurizes. The courtroom also starts without air?

I just took a look at it, dunno why but a bunch of pumps are set to 140 instead of 101. I've fixed it locally and I'll see about getting it fixed on the server tomorrow or so.

You sunuva betch! (IC FURY, OOC I'm pissing myself laughing)
I believed you too. Also I didn't try and mug you, I ordered you to hand it over (you were Axel Axel, right?) and you said you didn't have it, only knew who did. I could have given my secret agents all secret-agent pistols (Stetchkins)

I asked the mins to rename my stetchkin into 'NT Special Agent Pistol' but was told no. They were perfectly fine with me being a secret agent of NT though.

Glad you guys had fun. I'll set up a feedback thread on the steam group and the forums tomorrow so we can get some feedback on it to help Scrdest improve it.

Bit late, but -10 points from Security for "hiding" a piece of intel in plain view of the public visitation room, where an IA agent and me saw it and promptly stole it.  The other IA, Kert, proceeded to steal it away for your rivals.

I think a good question is who is the poor guy who hid 6 intel in a box that got stolen, I mean it had to come from somewhere.

They didn't hide it. It spawned there. Or, more accurately, I spawned it there.

My approach to spawning the intel was to make you scavenger hunt in the less-used areas a bit, so I put that there as a reward to someone who decided to check out the visitation room.

Incidentally, I just made the game handle intel spawns properly; you will get your own faction's intel by having it spawn on the leader (in the backpack or in hands, same for the laptop - no more laptops from the laptop gods spawning on the floor) or the laptop if there's no leader, and you can find random intel that will spawn in various places - the locations will be constant, but the spawning will be randomized so odds are good it won't spawn at any place you've seen it spawn before.

Also, based on what I've seen and heard of that round: as a leader, buy a goddamn Syndicate Encryption Key. It's the perfect tool to communicate for leaders. I probably should add some specialized communication item for handling intra-conspiracy communication, but you can always used a station-bounced radio or a second headset and tell everyone to tune into a frequency on it.

that was probably me I hid it there quickly as I heard security was randomly searching people and also raiding cargo.

Yaknow, its toobad we dont have a key that lets you change its frequency, so two adjustable frequencies in a radio.

Or, for that matter, prescription secHUDs (or any HUD) that spawn natively. From what I was told, its just one variable that needs changing, but that needs someone who can change variables.

Hell, I could probably code them in. Probably will try grabbing the current map and putting a few of them in. Possibly submit a version with two-tier armory stuff for bulletsec(lower level for when ballistics are allowed, but just pistols, second level being normal armory).

Speaking of bulletsec, Glloyd, you ever read yer messages on the server's forum?

Yeah, you mean your proposed security stuff? There was some good ideas in there, but a few things I had issues with. I just never got around to writing some detailed feedback on it.

I promised the clown 100$ if he started singing Cuban Pete, line by line, over the comms. After rigging up some bombs on Sec. S/he did. I can die happy now, I think.
