Yeah. It happened. It happened quite hard.

The server reached other dimension.

One of the new features is that mentors can do even less. Which is a bit of an issue.

You gotta manually reconnect after rounds, seemingly.

Vents seem to move air a lot slower now, cycling an airlock to empty takes forever, so does filling rooms with vents as I normally did after a patched breach.

I'll look into that, that's strange.

Jumping about, which is byfar one of the most used things for any staff member, now requires moderator, debug, or admin levels of power.

Round changes are really wonky and seem to take longer than usual, even when manually reconnecting.

I said it on the server already, but it could use to be repeated here:

Mentors are not mods.

Whether we should use on or the other is not my decision (what it is, however, is a trivial config edit to change). But while we're running mentors qua mentors, you're getting basically nada power-wise.

Mentors were always supposed to be essentially regular, experienced players with powers of being ahelpable for advice, not babby admins, which is what mods are. Again, I'm not saying it's good or bad that you guys are currently mentors, not mods - seeing how much handling of stuff in many rounds is done by you it probably would befit mod-ship more - but that's a feature, not a bug.

Im not saying that mentors are mods. The main thing that mentors wind up doing is jumping to LOOC requests for aid, which we can not do now.

Well, we also act like mini admins, but thats because we dont have any admins on 4/5ths of the time. But that is a different issue.

And what I'm saying is I KNOW they're doing that. But as long as they're set to be mentors, that was never supposed to be a power you, as mentors, had in the first place.

If we need non-admins with that kind of powers - which I think we do, I've seen what you guys were doing and I'm not criticizing that, quite the contrary - we need to make you all, officially, mods, not mentors. But the system itself is working perfectly as intended.
