The antag was faking CC messages demanding things be fancy, and placing a bounty on the clown for not being so. A lot of things happened, including the HoS taking Ian hostage and a firefight between Sec and some empowered civvies, well... it turned out that NT sent in Deathsquad. And F.A.N.C.Y. sent in their own operatives to secure the station.

Essentially crazy, crazy TDM as a finish to a seven-hour round.

It seems whenever I decide to not do engineering the power fails and/or the engine blows up. This makes me sad because I prefer to be doing medical or something.

I'm in that exact same boat.  Though last time I was an engineer I managed to be mauled by a space bear and knocked unconscious for a good half-hour.  By the time the doctor who used me as a meat-shield cloned me and got me up, the engine had already exploded.  That time it was apparently a borg who hugged the SM's fault.

Its been ages since I played on Urist. Urist was the first I played on. First round I was walking down arrivals hallway and I get critted and spaced 4noraisin.
