Its because (or so I got the gist of from the thread) OOC and LOOC would be filled with spam and angst, metagrudges occurred because angst, if you dident know the way to get the engine to be its most efficient and make the most power then yer a scrub, and people where taking 45 min to set it up, etc. etc.

Which will soon be replaced by people complaining how long it takes to set up solars and failing to get a sufficient power supply.

Here's the github link for those who don't have a Bay account.

https://github.com/Baystation12/Baystation12/pull/7748

Is wiring solars honestly more fun or constructive to the round then singulo or SM? Does it create as many interesting possibilities for tators than those two? No and no.

Solars require no maintenance, no chance of sabotage or literally anything interesting happening with them at all. 0/10 Bay, please continue to remove all fun.

plasma drive on old heat dissipation

do it right or cook fucking everything is a god-tier engine

modestly realistic with what plasma is supposed to be too, instead of some weird gas giant core bullshit the supermatter is pulling lorewise

I like that idea.

It is for me, it is for me and it gives them an excuse to dick about in space messing with shit. Atleast its building something instead of just dumping various gasses into a thing and hoping it dosent explode.

The plan on adding events that affect them, asteroid showers already do, if you cut one wire it can fuck up a bank, more power production in more places gives taters more chance to mess with the power supply and slowly starve the station of power. Couple some fun modifications to them with bootytraps and its sorta close to being a equivalent to a powersink.
