Objectiveless revs=revs win instantly.

So, just give the revs a objective to get admins to end it?

We removed objectives for a reason.
Well, how do you propose fixing it?

By not touching it. It isn't broken.
>Not broken
>Round ends second it starts
>Wut?

Objectives have nothing to do with BYOND being shit.

No, what was happening was that the game thought the Revs won, as they had no objectives, and completed them all. That's a coding issue. The first one may be a byond issue, but i'm not sure

I think the problem I've seen with rev type modes recently, is either NT truly is being evil, or the mutinists spread lies for no reason other than the fact that being an antag lets them.
Well NT are pretty evil. I can think of a lot of reasons to revolt against them.

I think the fluff for Rev is that Revheads *are* Syndicate agents, it's just that the M.O. is different. Especially since they can buy 5 TC worth of Syndie gear.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It works on Bay. It worked until this updated. Objectiveless rev has been working perfectly fine.

I still consider syndie uplinks a general "black market" uplink, so if you have one it doesn't necessarily mean you're a syndie.

Today I learned that xenoarchaeology can sometimes make you dead for reasons you don't understand.

Hint: don't stab yourself with pens you find. This is the single worst way to determine if the pen is an injector.
You'll rapidly die of polytrinic overdose and nobody will know that you're dead because there are never both xenoarchs and miners.

The tip is to always bring a monkey.
Or a bee, bees have saved my ass once if I didn't lose focus while beating a traitor to death and accidentally hit the bee.
Are bees still poisonous in this version of SS13?

Why would anyone stab themselves with an ancient artefact in the first place?

It's not a proof, but it's a hint. And it makes sense that at least sometime the revheads are actually hostile operatives, when Heads won't give you any avenue of riling crew up and you have to lie.

Having played a lot of security for the first time over the weekend, I have a new found respect for them.  God, it can be a pain in the ass.  There's a fine line between what is best for the station and what is legal according to Space Law and every shift produces some kind of moral dilemma.

what is best for the station

harmbatons

what is legal according to Space Law

arresting the roboticist for "sabotaging" the ed-209 to shoot laser bolts

it's "sabotaging" because you did it yourself in order to not break any laws when killing people

get it
