I only notice serious lag when the station gets lots of holes in it and the atmosphere has to process.

1. Game Parameters -> Reduced Height Windows.
2. Lock taskbar to the right side of your desktop.
3. Run Resize Enable

Yeah, Araneus is a bat with a modified sprite and seriously jacked up melee damage level. He'll kill you, everyone else, and burn the station if you aggro him. Nobody fucks with Araneus.

New method for securing the armory/dangerous contraband on a solo-HoS round: Stick it in a locker, put Araneus in the locker, aggro him, close the locker. Ain't nobody gonna steal that shit. Only works if he stays aggro'd, though. Or you could just ask science to cram a full-grown slime into it.

That round was still the second funniest thing I've ever seen come from working xenobio; two traitors dead from lockerslimes, one who would have managed his escape alone if he had resisted the temptation to see what was inside that science locker sitting in escape. xD

That fucking wizard round. Five wizards, one HoS, one officer, one detective, the entire crew, final destination. Playing the overzealous drill sergeant Commissar head of security was fun, and crazy. I hunted wizards with buckshot combat shotguns, since seemingly all of them took disable technology as a spell. I was killed once by one of the wizards after I shot her with my gun, and a second time after I shot Lizard Wizard (actual name) and Nova Anderson suicide bombed me over it.

I take responsibility for forming at least part of the madness I was trying to stop. It didn't help that my first impression of a wizard was Lizard Wizard who blinded me, shot me with a magic missile, and ran off without saying a word. And all the wizards refused to listen to me.
