Combine the eswords to get a dual-bladed esword, then make sure you're wielding it two-handed.
The dual-bladed esword off-hand has isshield = 1, IIRC. that means that it deflects a bunch of shit.

Hey, what do you thing would happen if, to fire accurately, all non-pistols (tasers are pistols) need to be held in both hands?

It would be exceptionally difficult to code in a randomized firing, because:

1. It's 2D. You can't exactly miss by much .
2. It would end up being a cone of probability, and a good player would just... Get closer.

'Point blank your target when they least suspect' does not make for good firefights with bystander casualties.

You could have a very minor increase in damage for some of the pistols. It isn't like most chases/gunfights with more than two participants aren't already clusterfucks.
