Would be useful on the medical mech to retrieve bodies. The next best option for retrieving a body from deep space is finagling with teleporter beacons and hoping you eventually hit the station.

Of course, if you can't put a corpse into the medical mech's thingamajig, this becomes less useful.

So I'm going to tell a little story that Jacob/Lee reminded me of back in 09 in are days of Gibbed.
Okay so to set the moment it was a wizard round, Jacob was most likely the Captain, and I the Research Director. Back then the RD got a small bomb that could break 5 titles in a plus shape. No one could catch the wizard he was very good at dodging no one could catch him. Then when his location was found I was running at him and I had the bomb. I could have threw the bomb, But no, I ran up to him and opened it right as I got near him. Killing him via the void.
