I was the geneticist, and the objectives were to steal the magboots and hijack the shuttle by escaping alone.
Really small starting crew, cyborg 823 and I, followed shortly after by Randy the assistant.
Thus it wasn't really a mystery who the antag was, even though I thought borgs could start as traitors.
The original plan was an identity swap with Randy, which would have progressed differently according to his reactions (ranging from gaslighting to blatant identity theft), and eventually would have culminated with him capturing/killing me in self defense to regain his identity.
But. I wasn't sure he would have enjoyed it, and worried it would have felt like forced RP. So I went with something far simpler.
I grabbed a set of tools from tool storage and headed to the bridge with the intent of gaining full access. As I was near the teleporter room, I heard someone inside the captain's room opening the windoor. I retreated to medbay and started testing wires on the storage door. 823 was in there for some reason, taking Runtime to a 'catwalk', so I pretended for a couple of minutes to be busy with my job.
Looking for a more private place, I took advantage of the often forgotten science access geneticists have, and resumed testing wires on a door there.
I finally made it to the captain's room, and luckily the ID was still there. I gave myself full access.
Back to medbay, I went to the camera-less patient room and ordered an emag, which I promptly forgot I was still holding in my hand when I sauntered over to the lobby and casually chatted with Randy. Oops.
Power was going out everywhere. The plan at that point was to subvert 823 and prepare bombs to have as deterrent.
I went to get a flash from secure tech storage, a pair of sunglasses from maintenance, and an energy gun from the armory for good measure. I looked for 823 for a while, but he was nowhere to be found, so I decided to get done first with the bombmaking, but just as I started toxins equipment went offline. I could have changed the cell in the APC, but I wasn't sure how long it would have lasted.
On top of that, Nicole just joined as engineer; I couldn't be seen anymore wandering maintenance tunnels, and she could have easily noticed gas in the burn chamber with her mesons.
I started making alkysine, on the off chance I would have needed to parapen anyone, with Randy and Nicole talking about the cyborg's trustworthiness over the radio in the meanwhile.
I needed an excuse and a quiet place to lure 823 to, possibly without letting the others know.
As I met him in the hallway, I remembered about the faulty and redundant treatment center APC inside surgery, and invited him to take a look at it. As we were heading to medbay, I received a message on my PDA from Nicole telling me the engine was almost ready, with the uplink code as ringtone. Not sure if 823 heard it since he was lagging a bit behind.
Operating room. Chanting to myself emag, crowbar, emag, crowbar- this should be easy.
While 823 was busy with the APC I made my move. Flashed him and emagged open the cover, crowbar, failed to emag not once but twice, but third time was the charm.
I really have no experience with borgs. I told him to protect the crew. He inquired 'Protect from what?' and I replied from anything that could kill them, so he started listing the possible causes of death for humans. Point taken. I worded better my request and ordered him to assist the crewmembers as he always did, for now.
Time to steal the magboots. If those in the CE office would have been missing it would have been too obvious. With 823 on my side, the motion alarm from EVA wouldn't have been a problem.
I approached the chamber from maintenance, opened the door, fumbling in the semi-darkness.. I turned on one of the flashlights that happened to be right there, and heard a 'WHOS THERE'. Snagged the boots and legged it away as fast as I could.
It turned out Randy's hideout was on the construction area near security, and the flashlight alerted him.
I met Nicole in the hallway in the now powered station, and agreed to go to the bar for a while.
I excused myself for a moment, and went to call the shuttle. Randy screamed about the robotic uprising.
I shared my plans with 823, which kept trying to drag me somewhere: as I later found out, he was just looking for human assistance to use the recharger.
New orders for him: take Randy to a pod. Probably not a good idea to let the cyborg deal with the borg distrusting assistant, but as it turned out the latter was way better armed than me.
One minute to the shuttle. I parapenned Nicole, brought her to the engineering pod, removed her backpack and tool belt, left an alkysine pill and welded her in.
Ran to the shuttle, welded the escape doors for good measure and emagged the console to launch early.
I just muttered 'Stay safe' over the radio, words weren't even registering to me anymore at that point.
As the shuttle was departing, I definitely saw something move at escape, not sure if that was Randy...
