Let's Govern: Democracy 2

Democracy 2 is a government simulator made by Positech games.  For a slightly longer overview you can check out their website or wikipedia.  I'll be playing with all options (difficulty, cynicism etc) at their median settings.

I figure the best way to play this game is democratically, so I'll be presenting possible courses of action and allowing people to vote on them.  Any particular vote will remain open until I get chance to (or feel like) closing it, but I'll try to leave each one open for a decent length of time (24 hours seem like enough) after the initial decisions have been made.  Naturally, I get a vote too :D

The first choice is which country we should govern.  Given the variety available, each poster gets to vote for two different countries.  My votes go towards Freedonia and Mexilando.

Next we need to pick a name for our party, as well as the opposition.  There are quite a lot of names available, so I'll narrow it down to a few qualities and pick whichever seems closest to the qualities you folk choose.

Pick one of each category:

Far left/left/centre/right/far right
Religious/Secular

My votes go towards left and religious.
