Absolutely :)

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Necromancer's tomb OOC
« Reply #33 on: February 20, 2013, 06:35:05 am »

Looks like we're going ahead. i'll link the main thread in at the start when I've set it up, and redo the first post to be more OOC ish.

First turns in..... feel free to do a bit of conversation in char, just to let me get a feel for them.
You all start with 100g, and any equipment stated. Non enchanted equipment eg. the lunar plate dont offer any dice roll benefits except when in conjunction with a skill, but will reduce damage, which will be dealt in true DF style - you lose a leg, you've lost a leg.

You guys think we should raod the kobold nest? It could provide us with a good idea of the game mechanics not to mention the loot and opportunity for our necro to raise some minions

Just to highlight, there are a few shops in town, but loot in the cave (perhaps). Regardless, you aren't well armed currently. The tavern is closed though. So there goes your main RPG info source :P

I'd appreciate if we could take some time to actually arm ourselves...

Also could you put the full character sheets in the main thread as well as what the stats do?

The stats will modify any related dice rolls - combat +3 will give +3 to any rolls related to your combat.
Strength, and Agility are the only real exceptions, as both also contribute to damage reduction - a stronger character can shrug off more, and an agile one avoid more. Some common sense is applied.

Full char sheets coming up.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

@ Nerjin, scapheap has already bought the symbol. You may have to discuss this with him.

I'll arrange a discussion in game.

So yeah. Sometimes you gain skill, sometimes you discover them -ie. it's appropriate to the character that they know it. There are quite a few ways to gain skills so reading is far from the only option.

I'll finish up the town posts when everyone's actions are in probably.
