Nice. I'd forgotten how much shit has gone down in the city recently. Only a matter of time all will fall into chaos and fire. And that's when it gets fun.

I'll let Fniff handle it, but as far as I see, Magnus ought to be happily accept. Though, I swear, if you get my henchman blown up again, I'm locking him up for his own safety.

Don't worry, I'm sending along a good 20 kg of flying TNT equivalent for his safety.

Edit: Anyway, time to start thinking about step 2, which is payement, and most importantly, how I'll manage to do it. For ethical reasons, paying in something that'll kill everything on earth is problematic, so...

Money is always appreciated. Magnus is a man of simple tastes. Or a fancy, Elerium-powered gun, or something.

I'm really proud of how you guys are the sole cause of making this city go from "horrible but stable" to "completely fucked on all levels". Expect me to start working on the turn.

I think, that so far I'm still having an actual net positive influence on the city.

On a side note, I might actually still post a second post, but don't wait on me. It's merely some base improvements that I can do next turn as well.

That'll be changing soon.

Red got some homeless people into a slightly less desperate state and got one of the city's rich to give the homeless a nice christmas. He also got the corrupt mayor killed. Sounds very positive to me. Especially the last part totally didn't disturb the city's balance.

I've been doing nothing but preparing defenders so I'm prepared when everything goes to shit and implementing phase 1 of my plot device. Soon I'll actually start intervening in the city.

Hey, you know how it goes, sometimes you gotta knock down a few walls to build a new fortress of doom. It'll be perfectly safe and stable-ish inside Jack's empire once it gets properly established. Sure, the outside might be a hellish wasteland of anarchy and law of the jungle, but how else are you going to convince people to pay up and want to become citizens of Coupetown?

Merlin's turn is done, showing Matthew's side of what happened during the confrontation in the Bogmolev Project. I think I'll do Robert's so I can sort out how his acts went and also a more objective look through Magnus/the investigators. I hope to get the turn out by the end of the month. Hopefully, the 32nd. :P

Also, we're approaching 100 pages on this thread! And the game thread has barely moved an inch. Of course, the individual posts are very long. I imagine the amount of words in the game is worth probably an entire freeform RP which tend to attract the smallest roleplay posts. Remind me to celebrate Age of Fire's third birthday on Feburary 17th 2015 because I can't believe I forgot this year's. D:

Around thereabouts, apart from the freeform which shall not be named. That thing's too massive.

But yeah, common posts in those threads are [character] exists.

Or in my case, corrupting people's morals into pure evil via philosophy. Mainly because I can't play any other character in freeform RPs apart from this one guy who started out magical serial killer and became ancient cosmic horror who once almost killed the concept of life.
Powerscaling wasn't a thing.

Hey, do you guys remember how I was saying that I'm not going to do those ridiculous posts that are basically novel chapters?

I WAS LYING. I'm still doing that style. It's weird, I've basically written a novel in a roleplay yet I can't be arsed actually writing a proper novel.

Do you guys remember how I was saying that I'll have this post done by the end of the month?

I WAS LYING. Turns out it's 10 days after the announcement. I was actually aiming for this figure.

Fun fact. While I was writing this, I thought we still had seven players, so I was thinking "Okay, okay, we have five down, now all I need to do is Jack and... er... huh." and it turned out I didn't need anyone at all. I thought I was going to have to do way more writing then I actually needed, hence me being able to release it tonight!
