Yeah, Red may come after Jack for this.
Though maybe he should talk with me; I'm subtle enough that no one bar the local boss fights know I'm here :P

Hey, I didn't start this. I guess I'll never find out why these guys attacked now, but oh well, they'll be no more trouble! Maybe their surviving comrades have some sense of self-preservation and decide to talk things through instead of going in guns blazing next time. Sometimes a bit of horrifying slaughter is what's needed to bring reason back into the world.

Indeed. You can only give peace a chance if everyone else is dead, after all.

And this is why Nate is probably going to try to stay out of this god business. Probably.

Nate is the easy target for the god-haters to go after. When he goes off the grid, we know we have trouble incoming.

Irony: the guy who can summon a dragon is the easiest target.

Then again, if HE'S the easiest to go after, then who the hell is the hardest?

Well, my new surveillance system should help with that.

Likely me, considering all the defenses I have up.

Meh, dragon's aren't that deadly after all. I mean, not in comparison with what the others can bring about. A high caliber gun can probably kill a dragon.

There's no stopping the death curse, for one, and I accidentally created a material that could cause the end of the world.

Probably Merlin, yeah. His defenses work against magic and conventional attack both, and he doesn't draw too much attention to himself. That old bastard's making enemies fast stealing souls like this, of course.

Ah, well.

Dragons just have that flair to them, though. If you're gonna end an enemy, better end him with a large fucking fire breathing serpent. :P

That was purely accidental, actually. Blame Magnus' clumsiness for that.

I blame Duffey banging around inside the bloody jar.

Dragons are hardly inconspicuous, though. Atleast supernatural hitmen can pass off as normal hitmen (the outfit is not glued onto him, y'know), and are still deadly.

Maybe Nate should read some Lovecraft, summon some Deep Ones or Elder Things.

Christ, man, atleast dragons won't drive the whole neighbourhood mad just by sitting in his basement.
