Hey, Fniff- Can we assume that these rather.. noteworthy events reached particular ears quickly?

You're just hellbent on giving Magnus a recurring enemy, aren't you? I suppose in this case he is the villain and Adam the hero, but that's just a matter of perspective, innit?
You can read the letter if you want since it pertains to your character. I'm just sending it so Magnus has no reason to come back to the factory to mess with my operations again since he's already made a mess of things.

From just the immediate aftermath, you would have heard about an explosion during a possible gang war in the Rust Streets near the old Absolon factory. With more investigation, you would have found that there was a police investigation going on already about something completely unrelated about the factory.

Huh, I didn't even notice that earlier. Silly me.

I don't think Magnus particularly cares about the regulator. I'll leave it up to Fniff, though, even if he is likely to just ignore it or hand it over to his employers or Jack.

I imagine he'd show the letter to Jack, even if she doesn't particularly care either. I mean, free regulator. On one hand, valuable. On the other, basically the perfect way to get every gang in the city extremely pissed off at you.

It'd make a nice gambling table for the casino, certainly.

Well then, I don't know because I'm staying up far too late in order to finish the post.
Anyhow, I finally got off my lazy arse and did it! Sorry about Duffey, DH - I know he was important to Jack.
Kind of.
Anyhow, all the mechanical aspects of my post are up and running, so the turn can be written anytime. I'll edit in the necessary detail later.

Sounds like an interesting method of writing. I just kinda... procrastinate... and then writeinonebigburstofactivity. Once I'm done, I'll give it another look and edit/change what needs changing. Yours sounds... methodical.

You should've said your apologies when you stole him from my jar in the first place. I'm coming to get a soul, and if Duffey's isn't there anymore, someone else will need to part with their own.

I like how, as Matthew becomes a better wizard, he gets his own color of dialog.

I think I did apologize, but yeah. I tend to go write for a bit, write for a bit, no inspiration. Then repeat. It's just that I normally save everything in a draft until I can post it but seeing as how my edits have been lost twice now I'll just edit as I go.

That was actually just me needing to differentiate him and Merlin better, but now you've given me ideas. Thanks!

Perhaps color dialogs indicate not only magical ability, but also how outwardly magical someone is. Red doesn't have a color because he often doesn't use blatant magic and prefers to do things quietly, while those with colors use their magic rather blatantly when they do use it.
