Ooh, so that's why Vimes popped in at the game. Excellent update as always. Now, time to involve Johnny in games he really shouldn't get involved in and see that Duffey pays up...

To clarify; did I get his coat, or did the Stranger bugger off with that for whatever reason? I'll have to wear it if I ever do meet Red himself.

Good lord. That was glorious.

Once more putting in the mention that this shit has got to be the most awesome thing ever to play in, even if the updates do take a year and a half due to hueg :P

Okay.
Step 1 of the plan is complete. I think it might be time to think about step 2.

Another idea was literally taking his life and giving it to someone else. Making him switch bodies, preferably with someone he's hurt in the past. But there could've been Complications, and I want his soul in a jar.

procrastinating on that post for the Era of the Dragon.

I see what you did here, mister.
And aside from that, I would like to say that this was an excellent update, which, as highlighted by the quoted portion, puts yours sincerely (read: me) to shame.
Merely to stress again how awesome your post was, let's say that it put some fire into my battered writer's hands again.

Now, as to the actual contents!

Were I in search of a word to describe what I feel, it would be 'thrilled'. For I am no less than thrilled to see that Red's gift has been lost in a bet, proving the cunning of his right-hand man! He'll also get his hands on the number of a true lady of class (it's merely a matter of taking a card from Mr. Carpenter). Then, I also noticed that the homeless - for whom apparently only he appears to care - are taking yet another beating, this time for a device some not so covert other figure made (Yes, Lloyd, I am pointing my finger at you).

Let's see.. Red got access to an estate which he can visit in the weekends and only one guy who actually seems to care about him (unless you count the mayor. No matter how subtle your actions, you'll always get the mayor's attention), who leads a group of total misfits. I'm glad that Red blessed Johnny himself (when Johnny wears red, he gets a certain form of protection) and not the coat. On the other hand, it would have been interesting if Jack and Red would meet and Jack would actually find herself empowered by Red's presence, putting Red into an awkward position of imbalance of power fueled with his own strength.

So many things to do, pawns to move, and events to motivate my character!
Let's put some color into this grey dystopic story, shall we?

Exciting times all around! I'm sure Red's and Jack's eventual meeting will go just splendidly.
