On the twenty first of Feburary, we began the Age of Fire. We explored crime and law, intrigue and backstabbing, murder and melancholia, robots and talking severed heads.
Don't feel guilty. This has been the curse of Godhoods since the beginning. I would say all forum games suffer it. Schedules change. Lives move on. Time runs out. In the end, it is only words on the Internet. Yet it has brought much joy to my life, and I hope yours too. It would be a shame for it to die with a whimper rather than a bang.
But it doesn't have to end that way.
You see, I have a plan. I will rush you to the end game; the game will be done by the end of this month. It will require me to declare my gamemaster State of Emergency powers. I may need to take control of your characters. You will still have choices: choices that will change the outcome of the game, your character's journeys, and the world of the city.
All you must do is give me guidelines on how your characters will behave, choose what path they take, and perhaps write a conclusion that fits the character you have created and inhabited for so many years.
This may only be a stupid internet roleplay for nerdy jerks. My writing in this may be overlong, overwritten, and at times absurd... But dammut, we must finish what we started!
Ladies and gentlemen, here is a phrase I never thought I could say. And I can say it; we've never been so close to it.
The end of the Age of Fire is nigh.
Misc things.
The next post is going to describe an emergency. A very bad one: a lot of things are going to boil over. Your character will be tested and may lose everything they've worked for. I need to know a few things.
A. Will your character be at Jack's casino meeting?
Please respond as soon as you can if you see this.
B. If they think everything's going to come to an end, what will thy do? Fight till the end? Retreat and protect what they can? Give up and run?
C. Are you okay with them being under my limited control? I'll try to stay in character and never make a serious choice for you. Would you prefer writing them yourself?
