Funny thing, the anniversary of this game is two days after my parents' anniversary.

Well, this game is my child, basically.
My slightly neglected and possibly feral child, but my child nonetheless.
If that's true, then we're in some sort of a weird 'my own grandfather' situation.

Oh did that brainstorm we did help, ebbor?
Perhaps.
By the way, I really sympathize with your situation. However, instead of a character, it happens to me with games. This is one of the few games I've really done on a regular basis.
Two years. Wow. I still can't quite believe it myself, really.
I'm going to do something special.

That's either very good or very bad.
Or both!

Alright, guys, we're getting a cake from Jules himself. Let's take our first look at the city through my special VISION-O-MASTER, which can see through universes but unfortunately renders everything it sees in bad pixel art.

Alright, here we are! So, where's Jules, Stranger?
...
Oh. It seems that the Stranger was waiting for Jules to arrive after completing some personal business, and it's been waiting an hour for him to show up.
This is bad. I hope he's alright.

He's here now. Like he was always there. Dammit.
"I have some unfortunate news."
Jules, I am very stressed about this anniversary, don't tell me--
"I forgot about the cake."
NO NO NO.

"I was joking, of course I have it. Do you take me for some oath-breaking bastard?"

The Stranger and I would really like to apologize about that severely. We really do try to run a tight ship around here, but NPCs can just completely get out of hand sometimes.
"You know, I can very easily lose this cake if you want to keep making apologies."
Point taken. Let's eat.
Happy cakeday to the Age of Fire. Your first birthday gift: an announcement.

... Also, that got one download before I even posted it here. Creepy.

I love the background music and your voice.
I feel personally responsible for all the dead Godhoods you mentioned. Seeing how, eh.. I was the reason they died.

Thank you too. I love the setting. ^^

Don't worry about Godhood. I can name the amount of roleplays I have run that lasted past a month on one hand. Besides, Godhood-likes have a problem with that anyway. I think it's the pressure on both the GM and the players.
The music is Constant Fear, by Bohren and Der Club of Gore. That band always felt extremely appropriate for Age of Fire.

Uh. This may just be me and my thing, but how did you guys listen to that? It ended up redirecting me into a file downloader website that wanted me credit card number so I noped right out of that.

EDIT: Never mind I got it working.

You think those stranger lurkers who've downloaded it have been following this game from the beginning? It's a nice thought, innit? A few ghosts, wordless and shapeless, who've shared every moment of the game with us?

Listening now.

EDIT: Fniff, you have a nice voice. When can we expect a full Age of Fire audioplay?

Well I didn't do anything I planned to do with Merlin but I did a (in my opinion at least, it's bigger and more detailed) better version of the wizard in the kitchen incident.
