What, you think we want Jules to hang out with our characters? Keep that crazy bastard away from me.

Last one? Baww. Your NPCs are just good for this game, even if we don't often directly get involved with 'em.

Don't worry, it's the last in the group that the Stranger is in. The other NPCs are not going to trail off. Also, you don't want Jules to hang out with you? NEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEEHHEHEHEEHEH

You put me to shame, DH.
That said, nice post.

Hey Fniff, are there people from that interdimensional SCP watching Merlin's shop?

With these people, it's not a question of if you're being watched, it's a question of when you aren't being watched.

Hey, Fniff- Should I actually give you a location to work with for Red before the next turn, or can I have him hide away? And how many acts do you think I spent?

If the turn takes long enough and people get their first acts over with I'll act again in this same turn.

What, you think we want Jules to hang out with our characters? Keep that crazy bastard away from me.

He can hang out with all of you, as long as he stays away from Red. He's got enough people after him already!

Yes you likely are.

That's why I take showers. Gives them less of a time-frame to watch me.

Merlin doesn't care because no one wants to watch Merlin naked.

Psyche! Only Magnus takes baths in the Coupe household. I hope they enjoy their footage of his scarred, hairy arse.

Still, temptation to use Mr. Reanimated Head as a warning/security system against these kind of threats rising. He'd become very useful to anyone - I can already see the wacky hijinks unfolding as everyone tries to kidnap him.

Who was that again? I only remember that I accidentally stole a ghost from you at one point.

Hey Fniff, if I end up posting before you do in response to DH (unlikely), would you end up just giving him and Jack their own little miniturns in the post?

This would be the unfortunate NPC who decided attacking the casino with the rest of the Irish-Russian goons was a good idea. Jack has no idea where Duffey's soul went. So no, I don't think Merlin will have anything to respond to. I seem to be in the minority not obsessed with putting surveillance on everyone.

Too bad; Knowledge is Power, after all.
Since I'm now wizard big brother, I've drafted a slogan:
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
PARANOIA IS SECURITY
MAGIC IS AWESOME

I think we could all use a summary of our associated NPCs, Acts and possessions. Fniff can turn them into a new Persons of Interest list if it pleaseth him.

To start with (subject to revision if it contradicts unsaid canon);

Magnus Rhodes: a big man who used to be a hired gun, before being lifted up by Jack and made her Enforcer and bodyguard... and still part-time hitman. Immune to bullets, more ambivalent on the matter of explosives. Linked to Jack by a mental bond, which shares general location, emotions and such. Usually, found in a trenchcoat and a fedora. Tough, glum and dependable.

Bill Capello: the administrator of the Omega Casino, son of the renowned casino owner slash crime boss Lucius Capello Jr. Though competent at the finances of the old place, he lacked the ambition and imagination to keep the casino afloat - until Jack dove in, taking ownership of the casino with Capello as the day-to-day manager. Capello knows enough not to ask questions, even if he is a bit rattled by all these attacks and such - but the money's still rolling in...

The Omega: Jack's favorite casino while wasting her fortunes, she just had to have it when she learned the place was down on its luck, saving it from oblivion, getting a source of cash, and a base of operations all in one. It's now renovated, flashy as hell, just the way she likes it. Though even as a junkyard the place would draw in customers, being magically alluring. A bit shot up recently, but these things happen. Houses the Game of Heart's Desire every New Year's. The vault holds a regulator, and... come on, the place is just begging for a supernatural heist!

The Game of Heart's Desire: a game of cards played every New Year's and hosted by Miss Coupe, with the richest and most determined and inquisitive in attendance. You can win your deepest desire, or lose anything from your fortune to your soul - just don't bet your life, like poor Duffey. Or... so they say. Is it any more than a rumor? Well, yes. The first game ended with the Stranger's victory, the second was crashed by Irish-Russian thugs.

John: Sadly, there is little I can say about the hopeful future member of the team. An Irish 'cleaner' taken out in the attack on the Casino, Jack intends to reanimate him as just a head (for the dual purpose of making sure he can't run away and to freak him out). Perhaps Fniff could share his no-doubt tragic life story with us?

@Fniff: So, uh... how did the Irish even find out I had anything to do with Duffey's death? He got the old memory wipe and slow death treatment. This bit; 'John was usually a cleaner, but the boss had said that for Duffey, John could live with pulling off a hit' suggests they ordered the hit because they knew. I suppose I should've asked them BEFORE I blew them up.
