now even the cube world forums are down :S

I believe the Cube World forums have been read-only for about 10 days now.

I meant the forums over at http://cubeworldforum.org, that one had more activity and now you can't even read it.

Wollay finally posted something on Twitter. Not very informative, but at least we know they're still alive.

Edit: I was just looking through some of his early posted screenshots. Does anyone know if the "architecture system" and "randomly generated monsters" features survived into the alpha?

Level 8 Frogman Warrior named Glenn, with an Alpaca for pet and mount.
Level 8 Frogman Ninja with a snout beetle for pet & mount.
Level 11 frogman Fire Mage with a turtle for pet and mount.

Did I mention I might be obsessed with frog-people?
A Frogman Warrior named Glenn? I did the same dang thing!

I may hold back on hosting more games. The server is far from efficient at the moment, with the game running with 3 clients(including myself) I hit 100% usage on all 4 of my cpu cores and server lag starts being noticeable due to performance issues. Also if anyone's thinking about hosting, be very careful if you have a bandwidth budget, the server is currently ridiculously bandwidth-hungry and running it for 2-3 people for an evening will use up 2-8GB just in upload.

Seeing as my internet only gives me 325GB per month and that's split with my two roommates, I don't think I can currently keep hosting this until the server gets streamlined. If anyone with a good cpu and connection without bandwidth worries wants to host, let us know and we can have some co-op fun.

For hardware, I have an a quad 2.5ghz, so you'll currently need at least that much to run a co-op server, I'd recommend having something better if you want to host for more than 2 people.

Not seeing the update... which launcher are you using? I've had nothing new since v2 told me to download and install v3.

I would run a dedicated server for a few days but I can't get the server software to initialize.

Just having a bit of fun, no worries. :) I didn't notice an update with v3 but it's possible I missed it. In any case, there's been so little activity with wollay lately that hearing "there's been an update!" is a huge tease. xD

Seriously? I have a Frogman Warrior named Glenn too... and only one person I know has gotten the reference so far.
