My bad, it should have been 1.  :P
I'd like you to explain exactly how, since IFT doesn't create any artifacts than can be reverse engineered.

So it's 2, because Sharp Mind still apply and rounding is down.

Current cost of IFT is 5.

Sharp mind reduces the resource costs by 25%.

25% of 5 is 1.25.

5-1.25=3.75

Rounded down, it's 3.

I ask again: How the bloody hell do you explain a cost of 2?

GG:  Do we have to know Domestication to HARVEST from a Pasture or just to build it?  Given that knowledge will be harder to maintain once we start baby-making, I think keeping a pasture on hand might be the best way to maintain stable food.

Like many exploratory techs, the actual value and details of domestication are as of this time unknown to you. In fact, as time progresses, some potential tech trees might prove absolutely worthless! (This isn't true of this particular tech, which is fairly good.) It will, however, be certainly true down the road, and I don't want to get into the bad habit of spoiling too much just yet. ^_^

I already have three techs visible now mentally marked as worthless!

So who wants to take the plunge and get Domestication first?

Mortality only reduces max health every 10 turns.
Oh. I thought it reduced health every turn, meaning I'd be dead in 10.

Much less restrictive.

Talvara, shall we begin with the procreation this turn?

Aye aye, lets get it on honey bunny. I'll go add a note on my characters round for this turn.

edit: I'm actually an it I guess ;)

My gender is male. but for the intent of the game I prefer to view us all as genderless blobs.

does it cost me 1 AP to procreate aswell? I couldnt find this in the posts anywhere.

It does not cost any AP to procreate. Though it does cost 3ap at the beginning of the next turn to create the child, the parent that will be carrying it.

Also, I've realized I totally screwed up, and am changing the learn values for children. ^_^
